tiny tamzey

my aunt cari had her baby this past tuesday...3 weeks early!
tamzey was 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 18 inches long
so tiny!

and ryno made this fabulous garden gnome.

his name is norman, and he is our new friend....

restaurant cardoni

one thing i'm totally diggin' with ryne teaching this class is his "practice" sessions before each thursday.

last week he planned on making pizzas for class, and the night before brushed up his pizza making skills at home.

Granted, this is his 1st pizza ever attempted, and the 2nd best pizza i've ever tasted {1st being grimaldi's}

ryno even cooked me up my favorite breakfast-in-bed for my bday...what a guy.

i also made him cook me and my fam some of his superb steaks.
and i promise, this is a look of love...
{or maybe he is sick of me taking too many pictures?}

i'm not allowed this year to reveal his true age..
so how shall we celebrate the birth of this old man?

1. surprise visit to work {he grew out of that decades ago}
2. lunch out with the buddies {he use to take me to arctic circle on my special day}
3. sentimental gifts from his fam {so excited about his present this year}
4. dinner to the delicious p.f. changs {my favorite part of the day}

so this is a project i've been wanting to finish for quite a while now...can you tell who they may be?

we're all gonna die...

i am such a watcher...i can sit on a bench all day and watch people walk by, and become so entranced of how completely different and unique each and every person can be.

stephmodo blogged about this project...i love how it captures the emotions of all these different individuals. the picture was taken over a span of 20 days, and consisted of 178 different people...
so cool!

a little early...

valentine's comes a little early for ryne and i. this is one of the craziest times for him at work, so we don't really see much of each other. this morning he made me this delicious plate of my most favorite treat before he left for work. and yes... i ate them for breakfast.. {don't judge}

so instead of enjoying a romantic dinner with my hubby, i'm gonna make cupcakes! i know...the yummy factor doesn't really speak through this picture, but the end result will be delicious. martha always finds ways to make things divine....

our past computer finally died and went to macbook heaven after a large glass of coke fried the insides...

we just were able to buy ryno a new one {which we now like to call thing 2}
to protect this new little guy, i find it vital to find him a nice new case. i believe this is my favorite so far.

so i came across this blog tonight. by the end my parents and i were laughing hysterically. the blog is all about posting awful professional cakes. trust me when i say it can provide hours of entertainment....
